Having an 800 number will help you maintain a professional business image among your customers; but more importantly, you are giving your customers the ability to call you from any part of the country toll-free. In today’s scenario, businesses that do not currently have an 800 number are missing out on a lot of sales due to inadequate customer responses.

Business owners have little excuse because finding an affordable 800 number service has now become very easy. It’s true that during earlier years, only large business houses and corporations could afford to offer 800 numbers to customers. But several factors including deregulation of toll free numbers and competition between service providers have resulted in affordable 800 number access for most business houses regardless of size. With low per minute costs operational costs and negligible monthly fees, there is really no reason for a business not to have an 800 number service.

Apart from 800, toll free numbers also have prefixes such as 866, 888 or even 877. The extended prefixes indicate that there are enough toll free numbers for businesses to obtain them on demand. As is known to all, the toll free service means the caller or the customer will not incur any calling costs because the business bears such cost.

It is worth restating any number of times that 800 phone numbers are a tremendous way to increase business visibility. This leads to more customer responses resulting in enlarged profit. The advantages of having affordable 800 number services are many, so we’ll mention a few below:

1. Human psychology is such that they’ll often be attracted to anything that doesn’t come with a price tag, which is why oftentimes they’ll stop and think before making a call they have to pay for. In order to benefit from this behavior, business must provide their customers with free calls to keep them happy.

2. No matter where an ad is placed – be it in electronic or print medium – a toll free number is sure to boost customer response rates. Marketing professionals who use toll-free numbers know this magic formula.

3. It is important to have regular communications with customers. If customers know you have an 800 number they will contact you more often. If anything, they will at least feel more confident buying from you even if they anticipate having post-purchase complaints. With a toll free number, customer can be confident in contacting you without incurring calling costs.

4. Offering customers 800 number boosts your business image and infuses a sense of reliability in the minds of the interested buyers of your products and/or services.

Our voice: Take it easy on the roads

September 8, 2009

Hi! Found a very useful and sad article. Hope it will make you think of this and maybe this article can prevent many accidents. So pay attention to this information and read carefully, maybe this will save your life!

Late last month, brothers Justin Abney, 19, and Paul Pope, 22, and their friend, Nicholas Adkison, 21, died in a traffic crash.

They apparently hit a tree at 110 mph on a county road in Sumter County, according to reports.

Before Labor Day, Memorial Day and other long holiday weekends, reports appear in newspapers and on television warning motorists to take it easy on roads and to go prepared.

Authorities predict high levels of traffic on roadways and announce increased patrols to curtail dangerous driving.

Following the holidays, reports appear again in the media listing the number of people injured or killed in crashes — many due to reckless driving.

The incidence of traffic fatalities during long busy holiday weekends fluctuate, but the numbers are higher than at other times.

Last year the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles reported a drop of more than 7 percent in traffic fatalities from 2007 to 2008. Some 2,983 people died in traffic crashes in 2008. Fatalities of teen drivers and passengers decreased by 22 percent since 2005.

We can reduce these statistics even further by heeding the warnings and taking precautions.

The Florida Highway Patrol suggests motorists planning a trip follow these guidelines:

– Check all vehicles lights, vehicle fluids and windshield wipers.

– Take a flashlight. Flares and safety triangles are also useful during breakdowns.

– Keep water in the trunk in case of overheating and jumper cables for a dead battery.

– Check tire pressure and ensure a spare tire and tools are available.

– Take a car charger with a cell phone. Put important telephone numbers on paper.

– Watch seatbelt use. Children sometimes remove belts while sleeping during long trips.

– Watch speed limits, which in Florida never exceed 70 mph.

– Photocopy the back of credit cards or write down the 800 numbers in case the cards are lost or stolen.

– Carry spare keys in case they’re lost.

– Take maps as backups for GPS systems.

– Confirm membership in roadside assistance clubs.

– Ensure items are properly stored. Objects can become dangerous projectiles in crashes.

A few extra steps at the start may make that holiday trip safe and happy.

Mobile Phone Number Search – Trace Any Cell Phone Number Instantly

September 2, 2009

And this is for you! Read and enjoy!

Are you trying to find a way to find out who owns that cell phone number you haven’t seen before? There are a couple of ways you can go about trying to find this information. The approach to do this are broken down into no charge and low cost ways. Here is a synopsis of how both techniques work. Once you have the information you can decipher which way is the right way for you.

The no cost way is usually preferred to the low cost ways, but this will take a bit of patience and dedication. You won’t find cell phone numbers in any of the no charge directories like the White Pages as cellular numbers are private and not public information.
The most efficient way to do a cellular number search for no charge is by typing the digits into your favorite search engine. When you do this, you are hoping that at sometime the owner of that cell phone number has uploaded private information along with the cell number onto a website that is still up and running.

I have personally used this method quite a few times and to be honest this is a shot in the dark. Major cellular companies such as Verizon and Sprint take the privacy of their customers very seriously. The way you will be able to get this information is by using a reverse cell phone directory. The cell companies provide this information to the directory as part of a lease deal.

Usually the only drawback is that a nominal charge will be required. For this nominal charge you can get just about any information you could possible want in a matter of minutes. The website where I performed my first reverse cell phone lookup is the site that I still count on today for all of my needs. They offer a way to upgrade so that I can do as many lookups and I want to. You can always pay just for one lookup. There is no minimum requirement. With this service, you can find information on any number that you wish to research! This is including cell phone numbers, published land line numbers, unpublished land line numbers, fax numbers, or 800 numbers.
